There was a scaffold that was erected in the bell tower so 20 to 30 years before we got there. We were tasked with removing the scaffold, which had to be passed out through the small opening as the tube would not go down the stairwell. Once this had been removed, we supported the 2.5 tonne bell allowing the frame work holding the bell in place to be replaced with ne steels.

Scafftec were asked to re-visit this site with the view to put a temporary roof over the building. Once the design was complete and all was agreed, we were onsite to erect the roof. This project was particularly challenging due to there being a very busy main road below and the residents of the building would stay living onsite whilst all work was carried out.
