We were asked to provide safe access to the upper section of the church and its four pinnacles to enable essential maintenance works.
The church sits proudly on top of the hill overlooking Plymouth Sound, meaning it is fully exposed to the elements. That said, it also offers one of the most spectacular views we’ve worked at.
To provide access, we erected a scaffold up one side to the top of the parapet, with a dropper over the back, before linking the front and back along the side elevations.
