The scaffold to the rear of the building is around the South West turret with the front being on the North elevation.
Both scaffolds were built to a specific design.
Due to the building being grade 1 listed, the scaffold could not be drilled to the wall. The North elevation is held in place by a buttress with the South West turret locking itself together.
