Here is a picture from a recent drone flight that shows the extent of the work carried out on 2 elevations. The scaffold to the rear of the building is around the South West turret with the front being on the North elevation. Both scaffolds were built to a specific design. Due to the building being grade 1 listed, the scaffold could not be drilled to the wall. The North elevation is held in place by a buttress with the South West turret locking itself together. Scafftec were asked to provide a scaffold to the north elevation of the building so that masonry repairs could be carried out. This involved building the scaffold off a stone parapet wall then using beams over a pitched roof on to windowsills with then five lifts of fully boarded scaffold erected above this.
