Gone Wild Festival
During the summer we were approached on a recommendation to provide a scaffold abseil tower for The Gone Wild Festival located in the grounds of Powderham Castle. This was a fun project for the guys as it delivered something unusual from the daily scaffolding routine. The festival is co-founded by TV adventurer Bear Grylls and takes place in the UK in Norfolk and Devon. Cargo Building Millbay
We were asked to get involved in this project by one of our long standing clients, Mercury Construction. The Cargo building based in Millbay is undergoing essential maintenance which requires scaffolding to the whole inside of the courtyard and the external sides of the building. This will provide access to maintain each external balcony and external glass pods in every apartment. This on going project hasn’t been without its challenges, especially with it being in a high public area with shops underneath and also the residents still present but our guys have adapted and overcome to provide a scaffold suitable to allow the work to be carried out in each phase in a timely manner. #millbay #plymouth #workingoutside #mercury #construction #riggers #plymouth #cargo #devon #scaffolding #projects

Plymouth Gin Chimney
We have been lucky enough to return to Plymouth Gin to erect a scaffold to the very tall chimney on the roof. We approached our friends at Raptor Design who created a design for the scaffold. Once approved, it was all systems go for the team to erect the scaffold. The first couple of days were spent getting the materials onto the roof to then start erecting from then on. The guys pulled it out the bag and created a work of art around the chimney that can been seen from miles around. Work continues at the Cargo Building in Plymouth for our client Mercury Construction. This scaffold will allow work to be carried out on all parts of the balconies.
